If you're looking for some traditional-feeling ProCreate brushes, may I offer my humble oil pack?
...That's actually all I have. For now. Probably.
Whenever I have something new, whether it's more brushes, merchandising or tutorials, this is the place to visit!
Here's a pack full of Procreate 5 brushes mainly focused on imitating traditional oil painting techniques, but there are some surprises added to make things more interesting!
This pack has 26 brushes, of which:
- 17 are oil-based
- 6 are focused on watercolors, crayons and pencils
- 2 are oil blenders (no need to change to the blender tool)

They're divided in 5 categories depending on what I mainly use them for:
-
Sketch: This brush is the one I use 90% of the time when I'm in the first stages of a project. It's perfect for big, soft strokes, but it can also help defining some details.
-
Covering: Also for the first stages, this kind of brush is meant for filling the image with colour and subtle blending so you can have a nice base.
-
Texture: The shape of the brush isn't very defined, but it adds nice textures in the second stage of a painting.
-
Stroke: The shape of the brush is the protagonist here, creating a richer language and giving the illusion of real-life brush strokes.
-
Details: These brushes are perfect for more precise elements, making the textures and shape less important.
